At the desk you can tell the staff how many people you want to be photographed with. Here you are asked what background you want to use. The old Volendam harbor basin? Or would you prefer the cozy and old-fashioned living room? Both sets are beautiful, so it is hard to choose ...

After you have discussed everything, you are transformed into a real Volendam man or Volendam woman. From babies to seniors; there is suitable clothing and clogs for everyone.

The ladies get, among other things, the famous hul on their heads and beautiful red blood corals around their necks. And do you know that the pants that the gentlemen wear come from the pants that the sailors wore in the 17th century?
