Take a lovely walk around the famous rock formations with great views of Mount Teide Volcano and the National Park

See the Chiñero volcano lava fields (the most recent of the eruptions here in Tenerife 1906)

Stop At: Parque del Drago, Paseo de Nicolas Estevez Borges 7, 38430 Icod de los Vinos, Tenerife Spain
Stop off in Icod de los Vinos to take a look at the old dragon tree 3000 years old. ( the old folks tale is if the tree is cut it will bleed.)
The village of Icod is rustic with the typical church and plaza.

Spend some time here in possibly the most beautiful villages in Tenerife. I tiny hamlet hidden in the folds of western Tenerife. A community of people who wanted to be hidden from the rest of the island. Amazing views of a gorge leading down to Los Gigantes.

Garachico being the original first port in Tenerife until destroyed in 1706 by the volcano erupting. Having time to take a stroll through the town center or take a seat in the plaza under the trees and enjoy the scenery.
