Meet your local guide in central Sarajevo at 8am and drive two hours out of the city to Sutjeska National Park. With your entrance fees covered, soak in the natural splendor of the land. View the deep and picturesque canyon of the Sutjeska River. Veer off towards Dragos Saddle and take a peek at the Skakavac Waterfall deep in Peruccia’s Valley. Wander around a thick forest that teems with endemic flora. Continue on to Prijevor, with its sweeping views of the park. Surrounded by the Maglic, Zelengora, and Volujak Mountains, contemplate the serene beauty of the park.

Once you reach the edge of the forest, descend towards the Trnovacko Glacier Lake, set into a huge amphitheater of rocky peaks. Weather permitting, enjoy an icy swim before savoring a delicious lunch under some of Bosnia’s most magnificent peaks. Vegetarian options are available if indicated at the time of booking.

After lunch, return to civilization while enjoying the soft glow of sunset over the mountains.
