Meet your local guide at 9am for this 6-hour tour of the splendor of Zakynthos. Traveling by climate-controlled coach or minivan with a small group, explore the beautiful landscape and gain insight into the island’s life.
Take in the sweeping views of the neighboring island of Kefalonia from a scenic viewpoint. Head over to Anafonitria and explore St. Denis Monastery, where the Patron Saint Agios Dionisos once lived.
Pause to enjoy a refreshment of wine and Greek delights (not included) before heading over to photograph the most famous beach in Greece, Shipwreck Beach. Admire its namesake shipwreck perched on the edge of turquoise water.
Continue on to explore Volimes, the largest village in the north of the Island that is famous for its handicrafts. Stop by the village of Exo Hora, well-known for its gnarled ancient olive tree.
Stop for a local lunch in a traditional mountain taverna (at your own expense), before visiting the village of Louha. This stunning village was protected by the mountains in the devastating earthquake of 1953 and is still maintains a historical charm. Take a stroll through the lanes and photograph the stone buildings and curving streets. At the conclusion of the tour, return to your resort.
