Lower Antelope Canyon

Over the years, Lower Antelope Canyon has become a favorite gathering place for photographers, tourists, and visitors from around the world. The Navajo name for Lower Antelope Canyon is Hasdeztwazi or “Spiral Rock Arches.” Many years ago, herds of Pronghorn Antelope roamed freely in and around the canyon, which explains the English name. This incredible canyon has been created over many thousands of years by the relentless forces of water and wind, slowly carving and sculpting the sandstone into forms, textures, and shapes which we observe today.

The views in Lower Antelope Canyon change constantly as the sun moves across the sky, filtering lights softly across the stone walls. These ever-moving sun angles bounce light back and forth across the narrow canyon’s walls, creating a dazzling display of color, light, and shadow.

羚羊峡谷(Antelope Canyon)是世界上著名的狭缝型峡谷之一，也是知名的摄影景点，位于美国亚利桑纳州北方，最靠近的城市为佩吉市(Page, Arizona)，属于纳瓦荷原住民保护区。羚羊峡谷在地形上分为两个独立的部分，称为上羚羊峡谷(Upper Antelope Canyon)与下羚羊峡谷(Lower Antelope Canyon)。

峡谷位于印第安人保护区，自然的奇幻美景是游客们的“地下天堂”，但天堂需要印第安导游的带领才能入内。这不仅是为了自然和人文保护的需要，更是为了游客的人身安全。就算是峡谷上方阳光灿烂，但是如果一场暴雨突然降临，这狭窄的天堂瞬间就可能变成一处急流奔腾、绝无逃生可能的地狱。
行走在这片荒漠中，丝毫未见峡谷的影子，也没有任何的标识，如果没有导游的带领，可能自己都找不到峡谷的入口。随着峡谷的深入，光线在不断的变化，岩石呈现出粉色、橘色、紫色、红色的不同色泽，造型也随着波浪起伏变幻，让人处于梦幻般的场景中。

下羚羊峡谷

• Ladders: There are steel ladders anchored into the canyon walls. The ladders vary from 3 ft. to 25 ft. being the longest. Ladders over 8 ft. have handrails in place. The canyon is easily accessible going in and out. There are escape rope ladders placed on top of the canyon, in metal boxes, for any type of emergencies.
• Health Concerns: The canyon trail is a bit rigorous and long, with low hanging rocks, narrow passageways, and narrow and steep ladders. It is recommended that if you get short winded (we are above 4,000 elevation, so please be advise for shortness of breath for those that live at sea-level), have knee or hip joint problems or heart problems to please get advise your physician before trying to hike the canyon.
• No Pet’s or Animal’s Allowed into the Canyon: We are sorry for this inconvenience, but to respect our guest that are allergic to the dogs, cats and other animals, we request you do not bring your pet’s and animal’s into the canyon. We abide to strict rules and regulations to Protect and Preserve the canyon.

• REQUIRED equipment are a SLR camera or DSLR camera, medium or large format WITH a tripod for each individual that is joining the photo tour. This is now a guided Photo Tour of Lower Antelope Canyon.  (Group size of 8-10 People)

• ONLY those individual that have the required camera equipment are allowed on the photo pass, no spouses, assistance, partners, or person if they do not have the required equipment (if your single and with child, we will allow if the child is under the age of 18). Please understand that we only have limited space on this tour and we ONLY allow Photographers on this tour. If you are going down as a couple, your focus should primarily be on photography and not taking pictures of each other, but the same rule applies, EACH individual must have the required equipment.  We do allow mirrorless camera, but ONLY if the lens are interchangeable, if not then we consider it a point and shoot. 

Things to bring:

• SLR or DSLR camera (medium or large format) required 
• Extra film or memory cards.
• Batteries
• Tripod or Monopod (which extends out more then 4ft)  required
• Plastic bag (for windy days to protect camera or lens)
