Begin your evening in Budapest at either the Danube Palace (Duna Palota), a neo-Baroque building from the 1890s. Sit back and relax as one of two folk groups – either the Danube Folk Ensemble or the Rajko Folk Ensemble and Orchestra – take the stage.

No matter which group is scheduled to perform on your night, you can be sure you’ll be entertained by some of the best folk performers in Hungary – both groups were founded in the 1950s and have shown off their talents around Hungary and abroad! The 30 artists in each ensemble perform choreography based on authentic dances, some of which date back to isolated villages from hundreds of years ago.

As you watch and listen, gain an entertaining understanding of Hungary’s heritage through the music, dancing and costumes of the folk show. The show consists of two 40- to 45-minute sections with a brief intermission of ten to fifteen minutes.

Stop At: Danube River, Budapest Hungary

When the performance is over, a host will show you to the pier on the Danube for your late night dinner cruise. On board the boat, enjoy a relaxing candlelit atmosphere as you sip a glass of Hungarian Sparkling wine, wine or beer and a hot buffet dinner of Hungarian and international dishes, presented with a creative touch by an award-winning food sculptor.

During the 1.5-hour cruise along the Danube, admire the twinkling nighttime views of Budapest’s famous UNESCO World Heritage-listed urban panorama, a series of sites that illustrate the city’s fascinating history and culture. Pass the Buda Castle Quarter, the Chain Bridge (Clark Ádám Square), the Gellért Baths and Mt Gellért with its Freedom Monument.

After dinner, head out to the open upper deck of the boat to enjoy more riverside views before returning to the departure point.

Please do the following for the pickup, drop off service:
• Be ready at the reception of your accommodation 30-40 minutes PRIOR to the start of your activity and please note that the exact time of your pick up is based on the traffic
• In case you are staying in an accommodation without a reception desk, please wait outside
• Provide your phone number, the exact address and name of your hotel within the city limits of Budapest
• In case you have not done it during the booking process please send it to: frontoffice@hungariagroup.com
• Keep your phone charged and turned on. In case your phone does not have coverage in Hungary, please make sure to check your emails frequently for updates from the organiser.
• Answer your phone on the day of your activity or reply to the email sent in case you are not available via phone.
• If you would not like to use the drop off service we are not able to provide a partial refund
• You are entitled to a refund in case your complaints reflect the errors of the organising company and in case you have made a phone call to one of the below mentioned phone numbers at the site and time of your issue.
• This service is NOT a private transfer, we are not able to guarantee exclusivity during your transfer. We are not able to take responsibility from any delays caused by other guests.
• Fulfillment of last minute pick-up, drop-off requests received on the day of the program are not guaranteed and based on the available drivers.
• In the case of you not showing up for the pick-up and missing the tour as a consequence, we will reschedule your event for a later time if are able to, but without the transfer service.

If this is not a possibility/you leave Budapest, the organizer will not be able to refund money to you for any of these services.
